what most of us don’t know about almost every girl’s favorite scene in Disney’s Fantasia is that for it’s late 60’s re-release and every subsequent release thereafter, certain racist shots where cut or cropped. 
I have to agree with Roger Ebert on this one (which chaps my ass):”While the original film should, of course, be preserved for historical purposes, there is no need for the general release version to perpetrate racist stereotypes in a film designed primarily for children.”
