Have you ever seen that episode of The Simpsons when Homer and Bart go the carnival and meet that carnie and his son and they invite him to their house and the carnie and his son trick the Simpson family into leaving their house and then they lock them out and claim that the house is theirs because they have squatters’ rights?  And then The Simpsons have a series of hijinks that somehow gets them back into their house?

Whenever Sarah Palin talks about being an OG feminist and somehow people like me being outsiders, I kind of feel like how Homer Simpson must have felt during that episode.  Get out of my house, Sarah Palin, and take your fucking carnie family with you.  You can’t claim squatters’ rights for a movement.

A cackle of rads? Is it so radical to say that any woman who preaches abstinence only education should rethink her “feminist” label? Is it so radical to say that any woman that supports rape victims having to pay for their own rape kits should rethink her “feminist” label? Is it so fucking radical to say that any woman who supports a party that believes single mothers are just lazy, that believes we live in a post-racial world, that believes a woman’s body is not her own, should rethink her “feminist” label?

Then, fuck you, Sarah. I am a radical. Feminism does not mean agreeing with whatever another self-labeled feminist says when she so clearly does not support women in their endeavor to be equal. You are NOT a feminist.

A cackle of rads?  I LOVE it!  I’m proud to be in such a cackle if it means looking at all human beings as equal, perfectly noble creatures - no one above or below another based on gender, geographic location, nationality, religion, or sexuality.
